
Mark A. Healey, Attorney at Law
With over three decades of legal experience, Attorney Mark A. Healey has been dedicated to serving clients in West Haven and beyond.
A lifelong Connecticut resident, Mark grew up in Orange and attended the Hopkins School, graduating in 1979. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Hamilton College in 1983, where he also served as captain of the baseball team. He then pursued his legal education at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, obtaining his J.D. in 1986. That same year, he was admitted to the CT and Federal Bar.
Mark began his career as an associate at a West Haven law firm from 1986 to 1992 before establishing his own practice. He is an active member of the legal community, holding memberships in the New Haven Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and the West Haven Bar Association, where he served as president in 2015. Mark also served on the Statewide Grievance Committee Panel from 2014-2020. In recognition of his dedication to pro bono service, he received the Honorable Anthony V. DeMaio Pro Bono Award in 2020.
Beyond his legal work, Mark is deeply committed to community service. He has been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and served on its Board of Directors, as well as on the Board of Directors for the West Haven Community House. He volunteers with the Foreclosure Clinic at New Haven Superior Court and provides legal assistance through the Connecticut Veterans Legal Clinic. Mark is a devoted husband and father, an avid golfer, enjoys exercising, and is a proud fan of the New York Yankees and New York Football Giants.
